Morfus are slow-moving - that's the best that can be said about them. A party of heroes would do well to keep encounters with any of these abominations as short as possible. When disturbed, a morfu will unleash a volley of 12 poisonous Hornsplinters from its wart-like muscle centers, all aimed at a victim - even though the animal perceives its surroundings with only heat and vibration senses. Morfus do not pursue their opponents, they have enough warts with horn shards to perform at least ten such attacks.
