The forest gnome considers himself the king of the forests, and he punishes every forest crime maliciously and mercilessly. A forest inhabited by this strange creature is a dangerous place for humans to dwell. When the forest gnome strikes, it has usually been observing its victims unnoticed for a long time. He always emerges from an ambush and fights either with broken branches or without a weapon - which ultimately doesn't matter since his arms are as tough as a club. He never gives up in a fight: when he threatens to lose, he temporarily flees back into the forest, only to attack again a few moments later. There's precious little point in chasing after a fleeing wood sprite, as the creature is incredibly quick and knows its way around the forest better than anyone else.
