Tiefzwerg

The deep dwarves are a very atypical species of dwarves who are sometimes called pale ghouls. They are descendants of the dwarves of Umrazim (the children of Aboralm). They speak a Rogolan dialect and are afraid of Angrosh.

Since the Orc Storm, the deep dwarves have spread from Orcland to Svelltland and south. Among other things, they found a new home in Gareth's sewers.

Deep dwarves have no beards and are otherwise completely naked, which makes their pale skin stand out. They make up for their lack of vision through heightened other senses.

The deep dwarves who live underground don't have much in common with other dwarves. Culturally they are very degenerate, for example their death cult, in which they attach the corpses to the ceilings. On nightly raids in the upper world, they like to steal clothing and hair from the Boron yards, consuming the latter in the hope of growing a beard. Food is mainly looted from gardens and rubbish heaps as well as prey animals that live underground.
