A stooped old Novadi woman hobbles down a busy street. In her hands she holds a tray filled with dried and fresh figs and palm dates. She hands the tray to every passerby. Soon she is at your side. Each of you chooses a fruit from the tray and enjoys it. The treat turns out to be sweet and tasty. The old woman silently looks at you, obviously waiting for payment. The old woman is clearly unable to tell you the price. Or maybe she is deaf and dumb? How much do you want to pay her? The old woman bows before you, mutters words of gratitude in her language, and continues on her way.
