Achaz
The upright walking lizard people, who call themselves Achaz (Eternal People), communicate in a monotonous language full of hissing sounds. Although the Rssahh is also widespread among other lizard peoples, it is difficult or impossible for humans to pronounce.
It’s the same with names. Fortunately, no distinction is made between the sexes in the naming, so that at least this hurdle to understanding is removed.
A given name is not usually chosen until after the sixth molt, which is the transition into adulthood for a young Achaz. Previously, it is usually referred to by a nickname that refers to the Jungachaz’s behavior, actions, or physical characteristics. Some clutches are simply numbered in the order of hatching.
