Mandara

Mandara

Class: Female, Elf, Vampire

In the heart of the Silver Forest near the Salamander Stones, where the trees shimmered with a moonlit glow and the air hummed with ancient magic, lived a beautiful elf named Mandara. She was graceful and wise, her laughter was like the tinkling of bells, and her voice could soothe the fiercest of creatures. Yet, despite her beauty and the peaceful life of her elven clan, Mandara’s heart yearned for something more.

One fateful evening, while wandering near the edge of the forest, she heard a melody so hauntingly beautiful that it brought tears to her eyes. Drawn to the sound, she discovered a young human minstrel from the distant city of Riva. His name was Odilor, and his songs spoke of love, loss, and adventure. Mandara was captivated, and soon, they were spending every twilight together, sharing stories and songs beneath the stars.

Their bond deepened into love, a love so strong that Mandara made a choice that would change her life forever. She left the Silver Forest, her clan, and her immortal home to follow Odilor to the world of men. The city of Riva welcomed her with its bustling streets and vibrant life, but the humans were wary of her ethereal beauty and strange ways. Yet, with Odilor by her side, Mandara felt safe and content.

However, fate is seldom kind to those who defy their nature. One night, while walking through the darkened streets of Riva, Mandara was attacked by a shadowy figure, a creature of nightmare — a vampire. But not just any vampire, this was an elf-vampire, a cursed being who had once been one of her kind. The bite seared through her, changing her forever. She became one of the undead, her soul twisted by hunger and darkness.

At first, Mandara resisted the pull of the bloodlust, clinging to her love for Odilor. But as the days passed, the hunger grew unbearable. She tried to sustain herself on animals, but it was never enough. Desperate and delirious, she found herself unable to resist. One terrible night, in a frenzy of hunger and despair, she turned on Odilor, the man she loved more than life itself. When the red haze cleared, she found herself cradling his lifeless body, her heart breaking with the horror of what she had done.

Consumed by guilt and grief, Mandara could no longer bear the curse she carried. She walked to the city courtroom, her head bowed, and confessed her crime. The humans, both fearful and fascinated by the elven vampire before them, listened to her plea. She asked for only one thing — that she be sealed away, never to harm another soul.

With heavy hearts, they granted her wish. In a solemn ceremony, Mandara was placed inside a coffin, her once-beautiful form now still and cold. The coffin was sealed with magic and Praios amulets, and it was taken to a crypt deep beneath the city. There, in the dark silence, she lies to this day, a tragic reminder of love, loss, and the unbreakable chains of fate.
